What is the Referral Program for Sailing Southern Ground?

For each new cabin you refer to Sailing Southern Ground, you will earn $100 credit to your onboard spending account.  All guests in the referred cabin must be new to any Sixthman event, and the referral must be requested at the time of booking or registering for any waitlist.

The guest booking the new cabin must put your Sixthman Username in the REFERRAL blank when placing their reservation.  Referrals are not retroactive, and cannot be added after the reservation has been made.  Referrals do not apply during the pre-sale period, or after June 4th, 2010.

Referrals will be reconciled 3 weeks prior to sailing, and will appear on the referrer’s confirmation.  Please contact Sixthman PRIOR TO sailing if your referral does not appear on your confirmation.  Referrers will see a $100 credit on their onboard spending account by the third day of the cruise for each qualifying referral.

What information will I need to book my cabin?

You will select your exact rooming assignment, so it wouldn’t hurt to become familiar with the Carnival Inspiration’s deck plans, found here.

You’ll also need to know which headlining show you’d like to see (either Show 1 or Show 2).  The final performance schedule will be released closer to sailing.  You will also select your seating zone at this time too.  Take a look at the venue maps here.

You will need to provide the following information for all guests in your cabin:  legal full name, mailing address, citizenship, birthday, phone number, e-mail address, and emergency contact person.

If you are unsure who your guests will be at the time of booking you can fill in only the information you know and add additional guests later. Be advised that you are obligated for the full cruise fare of the occupancy level you select during the reservation process so, in the event that you do not provide additional guest information, you are still financially responsible for the entire cabin.  If you wish to add guests beyond the capacity of the occupancy level you select during the reservation process you may do so based on availability for the additional cruise fare associated with the transaction.

Adding guests to your cabin is not considered a name change but any change you make to your reservation, including adding guests, between June 6th, 2010 and August 25th, 20010 is subject to a $75 administrative fee. Any changes made between August 26th, 2010 and Septemeber 2nd, 2010 are $100 per change.  Changes or additions made within the week prior to sailing must be done in person at check-in, and may incur a fee up to $299 per change.

If you are paying with multiple credit cards, you will need all of the credit card numbers (with expiration date and card verification number) as well as the name and billing addresses for each card.

How does travel insurance work?

Sixthman has teamed up with Travel Insured¨ (TI), which specializes in marketing, managing and servicing travel insurance and emergency assistance services.  Travel protection provides you with the necessary coverage to help safeguard your travel “investment" from unforeseen circumstances such as:

  • Illness or injury to you or a traveling companion or immediate family member causing you to cancel or interrupt your trip
  • Jury duty
  • Job layoff or termination
  • Terrorist events
  • Bankruptcy or default of your airline, cruise line or tour operator
  • A hurricane that strikes your trip

This coverage must be purchased before your final payment due date. Coverage for all benefits except trip cancellation will begin on the departure date. The trip cancellation benefit will begin at 12:01 a.m. on the day after TI receives your application. For pre-existing conditions to be covered you need to purchase the Insurance with in 14 days of your deposit.

Travel Insured will also offer a Cancel for Any Reason Protection (not available to residents of Washington State.) The Cancel for Any Reason option must apply to all passengers on the same application and is only available when selected at the same time as the original plan purchase and when the plan is purchased within 14 days of the passengers initial trip deposit.

Download our Insurance PDF for more details about this TI program.

We know you might have questions about what is and is not covered so we encourage you to read the online brochure or call TI at 1-866-684-0218 and specify you are calling about Sixthman Travel Protection.
