CRITTY UPCHURCH
Critty Upchurch
Christopher “Critty” Upchurch is a twenty-six year old singer songwriter from Duluth, Georgia. Although a stand-out high school athlete in football and track, his most noted accomplishments were in music. He was a three time all state chorus selection, and won numerous awards. It was also during this time that he joined his first band along with his older brother Cameron, performing at local bars and music festivals. It was this initial taste of the lime light that drove Critty to pursue a career in music for the past six years, opening for acts such as the Zac Brown Band, Sean Costello, Little River Band, and Sister Hazel among others. He has been an “invited walk-on” on the Rock Boat for the past three year. His voice, stage presence, and wit have made him a crowd favorite. Multi-gold record recipient and Georgia music hall of fame member Rodney Mills said, “Critty has all the ingredients to make it big. He’s one of those guys that you’d like to see something good happen to.” He is currently working on a new album with Francisco Vidal and Tom Young.
